Question
Will an ATX 850W PS (4 12V rails) suffice to power the following system efficiently...

Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 3Ghz
MSI P6N SLI FI mobo
Dual eVGA GeForce 8800GTS 640mb 320bit (SLI enabled)
Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 500GB SATA HD
Western Digital 7200RPM 500GB SATA HD
ASUS SATA DVD-ROM
Samsung SATA DVD-DL multi format burner w/Lightscribe
6 total fans, 2 cold cathode lights

Please advise? Thank you in advance.

Answer
It should, I just built a system with close to the same spec's (only one hard drive at this time) and used a 500 watt ps.

If you really want to be sure that your have enough power you will have to add up the power consumption of all the devices, you can find the wattage of each component on the spec sheet of the web site you are buying the parts from, if they don't supply the spec's I suggest you go to a web site that does.
