Question
I tried to install windows xp but i continued the istallation after it said some files where not being loaded it then said that the installation could not continue because some important components didn't load and it restarts the computer after you press close and goes through the whole procedure over and over

Answer
When you install the Operating System all files must be coppied from the cd to the comptuer hard drive.

There has to be a reason why the files did not copy.

Does the laptop need any special drivers when the system starts, that would be a special driver for the hard drive or CD drive itself.
Where did you get the Operating System install cd? Did it come with the computer or did your buy it seperatly?

One could be the cd has a scratch or is defective.

Another is that the hard drive is having problems.

Or the laptop itself is having hardware problems.

To rule out the different areas you need to do some trouble shooting:

Is the cd defective? Is it scratched? Do you have access to another CD?

Is the hard drive making unusal noises? Is it clicking more than normall when the file copy is in progress?

Are you tring to install the OS while the computer is running on battery? Or is it plugged into AC? Is the computer hardware timing out? (In other words is the computer going into Hibernation while the copy is in progress?)

These are some of the things you need to look at.
