Question
Hi Rider, I have an HP NC6000,Intel Pentium M 725,1.60GHz, 1GB ram, Chipset i855PM.And i was wondering if ican and if so how do i overclock to 2 GHz???

Answer
The only way to overclock a processor/fsb is if the manufacture has the provision build into the BIOS.

With that said another problem you have is this is a laptop and there is no way I know of to increase the cooling capacity of a laptop. In other words the heat sink and fan that are installed by the manufacture is at the maximum size and power.

The only way to increase the speed of your processor is to upgrade it, you will have to go to HP's web site and check on the maximum processor that the motherboard and bios supports. I would be surprised if it was over 1.8 to 2.0 GHz.

Sorry but that is the way laptops are.
