My main weakness is Mac, and any other non-windows based operating systems. I'm also really rusty on anything prior to 98SE. I can offer advice on a range of software, codec, and driver needs. If you need help finding the right software for a job chances are I can point you toward it.

QUESTION: Hello sir . I have a LG 845 Chipset branded computer ..
my quistion is when i insert 1gb ram (DDR-1) in my computer ram slot a fault beep is sounding.I hope 1gb ram didn't support in lg pc.Pls Solve my problem..
ANSWER: hey mebicky,
do you already have ram installed in your machine? make sure your motherboard supports DDR. line the ram board up to an available slot and make sure the pins and spacers match. can you also tell me the model number for your pc and how many beeps you recieve?

QUESTION: hello
i again ask one more qustion
i have already 512 mb ram installed in pc .
means (128 mb )+(128 mb )ram insert and each
have (244mhz).
and the 1gb ram (Umax)that have 500 mhz ..i
think. so when i insert the ram 1 GB DDR .it sounding 2sec bip and the machine doesn't respond or turn on.it sounding a continious beep on 2 sec..
i already check the ram in another computer and that is working fine.ram slots are also ok .
I am a computer science enginear that i think my system is not support 1GB DDR1 (500Mhz) is the ram availabe for 1 GB DDR(244) . i think this ram is supporting in the sys (LG 845 My Home Pc)..
Pls. help me.i was waiting for your answer.

hey mebicky,
i'm sorry but i don't quite understand all the things you're telling me. is LG 845 the model name of your pc, or is 845 just the chipset? also if i were u i would take out all the ram modules and just try the 1gb module in ram slot 0. if you still can't boot them i would say that your pc does not support that ram. if you tell me the motherboard model, or exact computer model number i can find out what the 2sec beep indicates.
