PC hardware--CPU & Motherboard & RAM - Backing up drivers

Question
Hi Robert
I wasn't sure what category I should click on but maybe you can steer me in the right direction if I am in the wrong place.  I would like to know the best way to back up the drivers on my computer before I reformat my computer.  I have an Acer computer Windows XP Pro.  Hope this is enough info.  Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
Helen

Answer
Hi Helen,

The easiest way is to download them from the Acer website and save them directly to a USB flashdrive. When you reformat your hard drive, copy the downloaded files to your My Documents folder and run them from there. Even if you have the drivers on disc, it is easier to download and save.

Hope this helps

Robert
