Question
Hi Robert,

Please don't tire of me-at least not just yet. I followed what you had suggested and managed to change one drive letter under FILE SYSTEM FAT. However, there was another file system called NTFS whose drive letter i could not change. It said,"Windows could not modify the drive letter of your system volume." What should i do now?

Nkutya.

Answer
Hi Nkutya,

Don't worry, I do not tire that easily.

FAT 32 is the file system most associated with Windows 98. This gives a File Allocation Table of 32 bits. NTFS is the file system most associated with Windows NT, XP, Vista etc.

If you managed to  change one of the drive letters then your flash drive should work.

What drive letters have been given to both your hard drive and your flash drive ?

Robert
