PC hardware--CPU & Motherboard & RAM - Dell Dim. 2350

Expert: Keith - 11/6/2009

Question
Hello there Keith! Hey thanks a lot for your prompt reply to my questions about my 2350 Dell. I have the Windows XP sp 2. I sure hope it's not the cpu as you say it could be, cause this little machine really turned out to be good and gave me many years of good service. I would hate to get rid of it just now. I'm going to try another power supply first as you have suggested. I hope that's all it is. As for the blinking light, well, the only way I can get that info from Dell, I think, is if I subscribe to their tech support service, or if my machine was still under warranty, but if you hear or know of someone else who might know the Dells up and down, or maybe of some other site that might have info about what the blinking LED on this Dell means, will you please let me know Keith? I would really appreciate it very much. Thanks again for being quick to reply. Best regads and God Bless. M.B. El Paso Tx.

Answer
I used to go to the dell support forums and search the answers there. There is a wealth of information there about dells.
Look what I found. I did not have time to go through it. Maybe you can? http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/dim2350/
Check this one out too. There are two different processors compatible with your system. Celeron and P4. http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/dim2350/specs.htm#1101572
