PC hardware--CPU & Motherboard & RAM - I need your help

Question
Ok first this question is about a netbook....but as of yet there are not any laptop experts. If you could help me I would be grateful. Ok I own an HP Mini 110-1030nr. I have gone to a DDR 2 up from the 1gig ram that it came with. I have searched the web and nothing says I cannot upgrade my CPU...but nothing say I can either. I really want a better CPU in my netbook. My Intel ATOM is weak. So I ask can I upgrade to a new CPU?..Any help would be great.

Answer
I cannot find any information about upgrading the CPU. It has been my experience when it comes to HP, if it isn't on their support site, it's not anywhere.
The FSB on the computer is only 500mhz so even if you could upgrade the CPU there would be a bottleneck. There is also the heat that a more robust processor would produce in such a confined space. Netbooks are not really made to be power houses or too upgradeable because they were mostly meant to be small and convenient. I'm sure we will see the day very soon where there are high performance netbooks, but for now high performance is saved for the larger laptops and desktops.
Another thing is maybe the reason there are not many people who repair laptops. They are very hard to work with because you basically have to take the entire thing apart to do almost anything except add RAM or replace a hard drive.

If there is a window on the back of the netbook where you take a few screws out and can see the processor, you maybe could get the numbers off of it to see what socket type it is and see if another processor is compatible. The only negative is the things I listed above.
