Question
QUESTION: hello

i have a problem with my usb ports. how do i solve it

ANSWER: Do they not work or are they just not functioning properly? I need to know what operating system you are running (Win XP, Vista, etc.) and what kind of USB device you are trying to get to work on your system.

QUESTION: AM RUNNING WIN XP ON A DELL OPTIPLEX GX280
AND NONE OF THE 8 USB PORTS ARE WORKING. IT DOESN'T RECOGNISE EVEN THE KEYBOARD

Answer
Go to Control Panel> System> Device Manager> scroll down to Universal Serial Bus Controllers and make sure they are enabled by double-clicking on each. If they are not working or not configured properly they may have a yellow ? mark or ! mark next to each/some of the listings. If this doe not work for you try going to each USB Controller and clicking the driver tab and then update driver.

Let me know if this helps. If not there are other things we can try.
