Question
i want to know what 2 dual core means and the difference between 2 core dual and 2 dual core is?i would be happy if send brief note on the same for me.

Answer
Hi Gwen,

I assume you are referring to the Intel Core Duo and Core 2 Duo Processors?

Put simply, "Duo" is "2 Duo's" predecessor and in practical terms there seems to be little difference in everyday performance.

The Former (Codename Yonah) is the earlier of the two. The latter (Codename Merom) was released later. While Intel have made claims that the 2 Duo is up to 20% faster, many benchmark tests have shown they actually perform with as little as 11% difference.

Core 2 Duo have 64Bit support which is not fully utilised unless you're running Vista. In addition the faster chips in the range (T7xxx) come with a larger L2 cache (4MB instead of the entry level 2MB)

If you need further info please let me know?

Kind regards

Ben

Ps If you need further help email lecksikon@gmail.com as I have set myself on vacation while I search for a new job
