Am I right iDE transfers Data at 16 bps and Floppy Transfers Data at 500 kbps?

Nope, at best a Floppy Disk can theoretically reach 500 Kbps but generally average half that.
IDA, or Parallel ATA, started at 5 MBps and the newer Ultra-ATA drives hit 133 MBps.

Lowercase 'b' is in Bits, uppercase 'B' is Bytes, so IDE is considerably faster.
