Question
QUESTION: Hello Pasha!
I have been trying uselessly to acquire the right M701G v1.1 Sound Driver SiS7012[v1.09] for my  PCCHIPS(TAIWAN MANUFACTURED)MOTHERBOARD but the sites are unavailable on the PCCHIPS websites(neither TW nor the US ones).
Please could you tell me  how can I get the driver?
I have tried in vain some other Download-Driver websites("filehippo.com" and also registered to "DriveGuide"website, but neither brought up anything)

I thank you cordially in advance!
Claudia

Answer
Dear Claudia,

If there is no .exe file in it then you will have to install the audio driver by searching for the search from the device manager. Please follow the steps below to install it. I hope you have extracted that file to the desktop as you will need to search for that folder during installation.

1.Click on START and then Right click on My Coomputer and select MANAGE.
2.It will open Computer Management Window
3.Click on Device Manager on the left pane.
4.In the right pane you will see Audio device with a question mark (Which indicates that there is no driver installed).
5.Right click on that device line and select PROPERTIES.
6.That will open a new window again.
7.Click on DRIVERS tab  and click on Install/Reinstall Drivers button.
8.Now on next screen you will have to search for the driver by browsing it.
9.Now follow onscreen instructions and complete the installation.

Hoping you would find the steps easy. :)
