Question
Hi there. I just installed Window Vista . was using XP before. everything works fine. but now switch over to vista, everything is good but the USB problem . i have 4 usb port at the back and 2 at the front of the comp. 4 2.0 , 2 1.1 . I plug in iPOD , USB , headphone and none of them works , it says found new hardware but doesnt have the driver. also i don think my USB 2.0 driver is installed . its VIA usb 2.0 driver, but they don support Vista. only thing my USB connect to is my mouse and keyboard. i will upload a picture of my Device manager along . thank you for your time . http://img227.imageshack.us/my.php?image=123rb9.jpg

Answer
If you plug in the hardware and 'it says found new hardware but doesnt have the driver' then you will have to go to each manufacture of the device and download Vista drivers. The device manufacture did not supply MS with the drivers when Vista was built. The manufacture may not even support Vista for your device.

If you can't find the drivers then you may have to upgrade the devices.
