Question
I have a Dell Optiplex GX1 with a Pentium 3 450Mhz proccessor. Can i upgrade to a Pentium 3 733Mhz? How do i change the ram frequency from 100mhz to 133mhz to be able to use the new proccessor? The motherboard is model i440bx/zx
Many thanks
Jason

Answer
Not have worked on a Dell Optiplex in a long time I would say it is possible. I have seen it done but as I said it has been sometime.

I would suggest you go to Dell's web site and do a query on their support to see if it is possible because you are changing the FSB and the older computers (not just Dell) did not allow you to do that.
