Question
Hi Vimal,
I have a PHP program that sends an automatic e-mail every week, but when I open the mail the date is not correct and it shows 1 January 1904 instead of 2012... Could you help me with this?

Regards.

Answer
Good day Tina,
Time may vary if there is a change in time zone (GMT). But, you have mentioned it as 1904, does not seem to be a timezone variation. Please let me know, whether you are executing the script from your own computer or through a third party server. If you are executing it from your own computer, may be your system date is wrong. If you send it from third party server (some hosting accounts got from companies), there is only a very less chance of having the server time wrong, since they use to maintain it accurately. Please allow me to have a brief explanation regarding your script. It helps me to assist you more better and quicker. I will be glad to guide you to fix up this issue. Please write back to me if you need further assistance.

All the very best.
