Pacific Islands - Fiji

Expert: Mick Maurer - 6/22/2007

Question
Hi, My name is Madhuri and I am planning to visit Fiji I was wondering what kind of food there is Fiji? What kind of clothing do they where? And are there ceremonies that would be  good to go to?

Please let me know soon because I am planning to go in a month.

Thank You!

Answer
Madhuri:
There is a lot of Indian type food in Fiji as well as the local dishes which are a lot of fish, fruit and local vegitables.
You can get along well with casual clothes, shorts, and conservitave tops.  They wear clothes that do not reveal a lot of the body.
Go to a torch lighting and a Kava tasting.

Mick
