Experience Over the last 10 years, I have sent well over 2000 people to the South Pacific. I was fortunate to be the first travel agent to be designated a "Tahiti Tiare"(Tahiti Expert)by the Tahiti tourisme Board. The award was made 5/14/96 at the Legislature Building by Mon. Gaston Flosse, President of French Polynesia. (No, he didn't kiss me on each cheek. He just shook my hand. GRIN)

Question I have traveled a lot, but never to Bali. we want to stay somewhere on the beach, somewhere very nice, but not too touristy. places with private villa`s/cabins sound the best. We also read about lombok and the gili islands, sounds like there is a nice place there. (oberoi) or something. Please give us some suggestions. we will have about a week there.

Answer Hi, Ted, Sorry I can't help you, but my specialty is the South Pacific, i;e;, Polynesia, Fiji, Samoa, etc. You might try to see if there is an expert on Indonesia or Asia who could help you. I can say a very good friend was in Bali 2 years ago and loved it. Miles
