Question I am not very familiar with Pagan/Wiccan religion. However, I became friends with an experienced Pagan. It was only after he became comfortable (or trusted me), that he shared his beliefs. I felt a very strong connection with him, which only grew the more we got to know each other. It was as if we looked beyond/through each other's eyes. Sometimes it felt like I could see into his soul. We did not have a sexual relationship, but there was an intimacy. He was concerned that as he revealed more of his practices/beliefs, that it might scare me. Although I might not understand Pagan/Wiccan religion and practices, the energy and connection I feel with/from him is amazing. I guess my question or hope is that you might be able to give me some insight regarding the connection or energy. I was raised in a Christian household, but feel such a strong pull. Would appreciate any feedback. Thanks.
Answer Rechel,
It sounds to me as if this has nothing to do with your religion, or that of your friend. Every so often, we find people with whom we have a strong affinity that often leads to deep, life-long friendships. It sounds like you were lucky enough to find such a person. His religious practice has nothing to do with the strong connection that you feel.
