About Mabon Stag
Expertise
I would be happy to answer general and specific questions concerning Wicca (including traditional forms of witchcraft), Paganism, Western Ceremonial Magick, Thelema, & much more! I am a student and practitioner of medieval metaphysics and a Certified Chikara Reiki Master using Usui and Tibetan attunements. I am a traveling Pagan Clergyman and offer marriage, hand-fasting, and blessing and saining services. I can offer advice on spell creation and casting as well as protection. Thank you for considering me for your needs. Specialized topics of knowledge: *Wicca. *Western Ceremonial Magick. *Thelema. *Spiritualism. *Spellcraft. *Protection. *Rites. *Actual practice and ritual. *More!

Experience
For over twenty years have I been a practicing Wiccan and practitioner of Western Ceremonial Magick. Thus, I am always looking to network and communicate with other like minded individuals who are looking to explore the spiritual and metaphysical boundaries outside of the confines of the commonly accepted mundane parameters.

Education/Credentials
Long have I traveled down the path of spiritual growth. I have been initiated into and am learned in several esoteric orders. My educational studies have been very eclectic. I am a professional with multiple degrees from mundane institutions, and multiple degrees from less "traditional" institutions as well as years of "self-taught" learnings from practitioners of various "crafts." I am a certified Usui Reiki Master, Tibetan Reiki Master, and Chikara-Reiki-Do Master. I was Ordained (by certification & ordination letter) through the Universal Life Church (ULC) and Monastery in 2001. I also have an education in comparative religions and serve as a traveling Pagan Clergy Minister. I practice Wicca and Western Ceremonial Magick and observe the rites of both. By practice I observe the Sabbats, Esbats, and Full & New Moon Rituals. I do teach students and am a certified Instructor of Metaphysics. Please note that I am licensed to perform legal marriages. The majority of states have defined a legal marriage as a legal and ceremonial union between a male and female couple. Paganism and Modern Wicca/Witchcraft as belief systems are more relevant today than ever. I feel that as human beings the need for belief in a higher power(s) is/are instinctive and necessary for survival.

Question
QUESTION: What is the Evil Eye, and how is it referenced and used?

ANSWER: Robin,

Well met!  "The Evil Eye" has been and continues to be a spell cast upon and affecting a target person with bad luck and misfortune.  This spell usually is permanent until it is warded off or dispelled by a counter spell of protection.

The creation and casting of the Evil Eye spell has been around for more than 4000 years.  The ancients from the Babylonians to the Egyptians to the Romans were conscious of the spells powers and the consequential effects that resulted in its use.

The Italians still refer to the Evil Eye as the "molocchio" or "the horns."  The hand gesture is exactly the same as the symbol for would be "satanists" or fans of the Texas Longhorns football team; whereby the thumb holds down the middle and ring fingers on the hand leaving the index and pinky fingers extended.

The Evil Eye is used primarily to cause harm to your enemies.  It is an offensive spell.  Again the purpose is to afflict the target with pain, suffering, and general "bad luck" as if that person had a perpetual "black cloud" hanging over his or her head.

Generally the intent of the Evil Eye can even be cast subconsciously by people who are envious, or wish you harm even though they actually cast no spell or even know how to.  We have all felt that feeling when "all eyes are on you," or when you simply just "know" that someone does not like you or is jealous.  That is why psychic protection skills are more valuable than any physical protection in the form of an amulet.

There are many spells to cast the Evil Eye and there are many protections against it.  In fact, the belief that the Evil Eye exists and is being used has promoted many cultures (including our modern one) into the habit of wearing amulets or "charms" to ward off any errant casting from an enemy as a prophylactic measure of protection.

There are many books on the subject.  However, please be careful wishing harm upon your enemies and I would suggest only doing so if they are actively trying to hurt or destroy you.  Read the book "Psychic Self Defense" by Dion Fortune.  It could save your life.  Best of luck.

Be Blessed!

QUESTION: How does one protect themselves if the Evil Eye has been put on them?  What spells or anything else would you suggest I use?

Answer
Robin,

To remove the spell I would suggest using a raw egg passing it around your body seven (7) tunes while uttering the following: "Uzarlik, Uzarlik, you are the air; you are against every grief; pluck out the Evil Eye and place it in this thief!"   The Evil Eye energy will then be transferred into the raw egg.  Take the egg to a safe area, not your own, and smash it on the ground.  You can do this every time you feel afflicted.

To guard against the spell pick up a found iron nail and carry it in a red colored conjure or mojo bag.

Best of luck and Be Blessed!
