Awards and Honors I run a Temple, in addition to my "mundane" life working in a hospital and running my own business.I have had 4 years of formal training in one Tradition, and was Initiated as a Green Witch. Question I have some sort of issue. I was fifteen sixteen years ago and read a passage from the necronomicum (sp). Since that things happened, I had a friend preform a salt ritual as she said an it seemed to all go away. Recently (last 4 years) I wished for things and they began to happen. Then I started having terrible regrets and hears voices. One time in the middle of the day (about 6 months ago) while taking a nap I saw a face, red demonic with teeth horns ear piercings I could almost draw it. I started to pray for an answer or a name of what was constantly attacking me mentally... and it said Azazel which seems to be a djinn? Things I want happen but then family members are stricken ill. I know this sounds insane but its happening. If you or anyone can tell me how to get rid of it please help me.... it is literally driving me insane. I am not very religious but I believe in God I believe there is good and evil and I know from past experiences there are demons, so there has to be a good side.

I'm sorry that you've had bad experiences, but reading from the Necronomicon isn't going to cause anything. The Necronomicon was written by a Fiction author, H.P. Lovecraft. It sounds scary, but it's a fake system. You could read the entire thing aloud standing in a pentagram with fifty candles of your choice burning. Nothing is going to happen.
If you seeing these things there is something more going on. All the salt rituals in the world are only band-aids for a greater problem.
I've never heard Azazel referred to as a djinn before, are you sure that's what was said?
I would continue to pray, and I might possibly talk to your clergy person of choice and ask them to bless you.
