I can answer all questions regarding natural spirituality and being a pagan. Being Wicca, Golden Dawn, Shamanist, whatever...is like saying you're Lutheran or Baptist. They are all forms of paganism and all based on natural spirituality. I am Romani (gypsy) and part Lakota (American Indian) and I was raised in natural spiritualism. I am a life path counselor for my group, a ritualist, and a spell weaver. Most of my work consists of guiding people on how to find spiritual peace in a very chaotic material world. Ask me anything.

Experience
Romani and Lakota by blood and raised in the old traditions. High Priestess - Rainbow Moon Clan. Ordained Christian Minister

Question
So, I was just outside talking on the phone when a pigeon fell out of the sky not even a foot from where I was standing. It started floping around and rolling for a minute befor it just stopped moving. Am I freaking out for nothing or is this a bad sign? It gave me really bad feeling and scared the hell out of me.

Thanks, Nikki

Answer
People find bird phenomenon spooky because flying is a foreign concept.
You don't say what kind of environment you are in.  This is weirder if there aren't pigeons naturally in your environment, but in Chicago or New York...well...
It is odd falling out of the sky like that unless some kid shot it...are you in a rural area where all the boys have air rifles?  I grew up in a place like that...

Okay, so some birds have more spiritual significance than others and the pigeon isn't really know for its psychic power.  Birds in general are messengers, so if you feel that the event is significant, just pay attention for awhile to sudden changes.  The abrupt drop of the bird would signal an abrupt change.  The change is not necessarily death.  The death of the bird probably just means the change has some kind of permanence or that it completes something you already have going.

Sign like this are just to make you pay attention so you can avoid a pitfall or recognize an opportunity.

Blessed Be, Labyrinth
