Awards and Honors I run a Temple, in addition to my "mundane" life working in a hospital and running my own business.I have had 4 years of formal training in one Tradition, and was Initiated as a Green Witch. I've taught classes in MD, DE and PA. I've been contacted on several occasions to act as a Media liason for ABC television and the Sci-Fi Channel in matters of the Wiccan religion and have been featured locally on AM and FM stations, including multiple appearances on 'The Paranormal Cafe.'
I run Meeting groups locally for Witches and other Magickal people to meet and greet, and am currently working with friends in MD and DE to build stores to better serve our Community.
Question I am to become a Priest in my community coven since my brother is unable to continue his priesthood due to an accident at work.
There is a lady who has been trying to meet me and have romantic relationship with me, but is not from my religion, in my coven, our tradition is that men and women have to handfast virgins, she is adamant that I go to bed with her before we handfast, as she says " try the merchandise before buying it" I'm not in the least excited about it, the question here is, is there a rule in the Wicca religion that men and women have to be from same religion beliefs, (the elders in my coven are a bit old fashion, but I respect their views, I just want to make sure, in case another comes along with the same predicament).

Answer There are no Taboos in Wicca regarding premarital sex, so even if your tradition may not agree with it, it's a personal choice supported by the Wiccan religion. It is a Sacred thing and that choice is your alone, and supported by the Gods. Our Faith is about free will. As long as you are making a responsible and informed decision regarding your sexual health, no one can fault you for it.
As for whether or not there are rules regarding marrying outside your faith, that is also up to you.
