Pagan/Wiccan Religion - Becoming a Wiccan

Expert: Rev. Adriana Iris - 9/27/2009

Question
Hey again,
you must be getting sick of me now, huh?
I know this is the second time today, but after what you said to me earlier; I decided to look into the Wiccan religion.
I recently ditched Christianity after reading a David Ike book, and I was considering joining Muslim, although it might've been Islam.
But the thing is, I live in Marbella (Spain) And I don't speak much Spanish. Is there anything I could do to join the religion if there's no alter or anything?
My friends don't really like people that aren't Christian, Muslim or Islamic, so I've told the one that is most open minded.
I really need some advice on this, but you don't have to answer x

Answer
Hi Shaunee!
Nope not sick of you. :)
Beautiful Spain, you are very lucky to live there.
Try to soak as much in, while there.

The Spaniards have so much to offer in mysticism and culture.

What don't you try a bit of spirituality and meditation and learning as much as you can from all religions. Then when you reach an older age, you can make an inform decision of what it is that suits you best.

Read about Islam, read the bible if the chance presents read the Koran, these are all tools of finding ourselves and reaching a higher level of understanding. The Kabbalah and Jewish Mysticism is a beautiful area as well.

Take your time to learn about the nature of humans. Why is it that we need religion? What do we hope to achieve? Take your time. The joyful part is the journey not the destination.

A thousand blessings and feel free to email me anytime.
