A person who I believed to be my friend practices santeria her saint is Oya. This is a person whom I have done everything for and have been a very good friend to, but she has not always been in return. She was having a string of bad luck so I let her come and work for me about 6 months ago till she found something else. Before and when she was working for me and my company, my business was going very well. Just before she stopped working for me I went to one of her misa's and things seemed a little funny after that. When she stopped working for me shortley after the misa it was as if she took all my professional success with her now she is doing extremely well and fortunate and I am drowning financially and my success seems as though it is gone. I worry because she is always using her magic to get the upper hand in life. She is the type of person that I believe would maybe try to reverse the professional success between us because she is very much the type of person who looks out for herself and not others. I thought this girl was my friend but lately it seems like she only cares about herself. Is there such a spell or curse for her to use and if so how do I counter it and get my good fortune back? It didn't concern me until she started saying that I am just clouded and I need to just work harder. Can you help me?

QUESTION: Hello Adriana,
I do not practice santeria, although I do believe very much in black magic, voodoo and higher power. I am a very spiritual person. I have done none of these, I don't know where to begin... I was kind of looking for guidence of where to turn, I only know what she has informed me of the religion and what I have read. The Misa that I went to was performed by her family it was at her dad's home who is very high in the religion from what I understand. The cleansing that they were doing at the time was for her brother, or so I think. I only speak english so I also have no understanding of what chants or rituals were being used at the time. When you speak of such as Banos I am lost, I do not have a saint that I know of. I am not even sure where I would go for the answers. Other than her family I do no know anyone that practices the religion.What is a Madrina and how would I find one? Can you point me in the right direction? I desperatley need to regain the control of my life back.
Also is there a way to cleans myself without sending it back or her knowing. I don't want more problems for the future I just want to rid of whatever it is that she has done.Any help is so very truley appreciated. Thank you.

Since you are not a Santero(a), I would suggest you use your religion and faith to deal with what you feel is this psychic attack.
If you attend church, I would ask my priest or preacher to conduct some prayers of protection for you.
If you are thinking of retaliating with Magic or Witchcraft I can't help you there.
Depending on the city and town you live, there might be some "botanicas" which are the places where Santeros buy their tools and ingredients.
There, you might find someone that may do work for you, in exchange of a monetary donation.
In the meantime this is a protection spell you can do yourself.
Sit or stand before any fire.

Visualize the fire bathing you with glowing, protective light.
