Have used Pagemaker since version 3.0 and realize there are still some people using it.
Education/Credentials Some college training in printing and have attended numerous seminars.
Question I am using Pagemaker 7.0.1 for Mac
Adobe Acrobat 5.00 is installed in my System 9 folder
Operating Systems Mac OS 10.3.9 / 9.2.2
It used to work! But now, when I select File/Export/Adobe PDF, there’s a slight blink, and nothing happens. I’ve got a job due at the printer on Tuesday!!!!!!!
Answer Hi Kathlyn,
I'm not sure what could be causing the misfire - make sure you are using the same printer driver you used before in Chooser, and your selected printer is PDF. You might try deleting the PageMaker preferences and restarting.
As a workaround you can always Print the job to .ps and distill them manually. In the Print dialog click on Options then Print to file Postscript. Then just drop the .ps files on the Distiller main window.
