Have used Pagemaker since version 3.0 and realize there are still some people using it.
Education/Credentials Some college training in printing and have attended numerous seminars.
Question I have Pagemaker 6.5 which I've been using for years. Quite recently, I've been unable to paste text I've copied from any other word processing program into my Pagemaker document. The error message says, "Cannot paste from Clipboard. Cannot retrieve Clipboard data. Try pasting in another format." I've tried re-installing Pagemaker; doing a disk clean-up and de-frag; opening a new Pagemaker document and trying to paste the text into it; and everything else I can think of. Got any clue? I'd sure appreciate it!
Answer Hi Jo,
It sounds like the data is being corrupted on the clipboard. The only thing I can think of is to try and free up some more disk space on your startup drive.
