Question I have been using Pagemaker 6.5 for several years, creating innumerable documents without a major glitch. Now suddenly, inexplicably it will not run.
I get an error message that says "Unable to load ICON DLL for this screen"
My computer setup has not changed.
I have tried uninstalling and reloading the program. I have also reloaded Windows 98
No change. Any suggestions?
Thanks for your attention.
Answer Hello Gerald,
This is a common problem. You have too many fonts installed. PageMaker cannot grab enough memory to handle them all. Reduce the number of installed fonts, and PageMaker will work again.
I hope that helps. Let me know if you have more questions.
