I've been a Mac person for a long time. Around my neck of the woods everyone has a PC. Even internet support is better for PCs...Anyway
My question:
Why can't I place text from Microsoft word or works programs into my pagemaker document?
I could place photos, but not text.
When I had my mac this was no problem. NOW I HAVE A PC.
I'm using Adobe PageMaker 6.5 on my hp brand new computer and the system is WindowsXP

Answer Chris:
It sounds like you are missing the MS Word import filter. If you installed Pagemaker before your MS Office apps, it might not have added the filter.
Try going here and installing an updated import filter:
