Pain Management - Pain management

Expert: Margot RN BScN GNC - 4/2/2009

Question
I am 43 and have severe arthritis. I was in a pain management program that left me feeling way over medicated (90 oxycotin & 140 Vicodin a month). Now my doctor leaves me undermedicated at only 30 Percocet a month. I don't know how to get to the middle ground here, my Doctor will not budge on this matter. I am now feeling depressed and angry all the time. My daily life is a struggle, I only do about a third of what I could do before. How do a talk to her about this or find a Doctor who understands.
