Pain Management - muscle pain in both legs from waist down

Expert: Dr. Man Tran, Ph.D., D.C., L.Ac. - 6/9/2009

Question
my hubby is having muscle pain in both legs.he is diabetic also he has high blood pressure. Is it due to that or could it be he is too chunky. He is big built about 200lbs or more. He said only when he lie down then the pain goes away, but it comes back.

Answer
hi Fatima,

With  his history, the  high blood pressure and diabetes can attribute to his leg pain.  His weigh may be the cause of muscle cramp as well since the legs muscle holds his entire body when he stands or walks.

Make sure he has regular check up especially if the legs become swollen.
