Pain Management - Chest and Back pain

Expert: Lawrence Gold - 9/29/2009

Question
Hello, just today I began having pain in the chest and the back, also in the throat, that is especially when I breath too much or I swallow. Any idea what's going on ? Thank you very much.

P.S. I think that is because I drank a very cold juice at the morning and generally the weather is also cold here. Could it possible be this why I have these pains. What should I do?

Answer
Hello, Sotiris,

It would not be because you drank something cold; that would create only momentary discomfort.

I don't have enough information to say more; it could be anything from muscle spasms to something related to your heart.

Get a medical opinion. If you're free of heart problems, contact me again.

regard,
Lawrence Gold
