Question QUESTION: Hi,
How do I make an image-picture into an oval in PSPS 8 ?
Also all the nice tiles and backgrounds where do I put them, which folder? Some say fills, tiles, backgrounds. I have made folders outside PSP 8 on my hard drive C: and know how to find them.
Thank you very much for your time and much needed help.

ANSWER: Hi Phylis,
Thank you for visiting AllExperts with you query! There are several ways to make an oval image. To answer that can you first tell me more about what you had in mind? Are you trying to make an image with an oval overlay, like a picture frame? Are you trying to create an oval with a 3D appearance? Or are you trying to create a 2d oval image on a transparent background?
There are a few different folders to place your tiles. Begin by navigating to your "My PSP Files" folder. Your path should resemble this:
C:\Documents and Settings\UserAccount\My Documents\My PSP Files\
Now you will find a number of folders. The following is a guide for what to put in each folder:
Brushes - PSPBRUSH & ABR & JBR files can be *imported* here
Bump Maps - BMP & PSPIMAGE & JPG file types can be added here
Deformation Maps - PspDeformationMap file types can be added here
Displacement Maps - JPG & BMP file types can be added here
Environment Maps - PSPIMAGE & JPG file types can be added here
Gradients - JGD file types can be added here
Masks - BMP file types can be added here
Patterns - PSPIMAGE & JPGS file types can be added here
Picture Frames - PSPFRAME file types can be added here
Picture Tubes - PSPTUBES file types can be added here
Preset Shapes - JSL & PSPSHAPES file types can be added here
Presets - PSPSCRIPTS file types can be added here
Scripts-Restricted - PSPSCRIPTS file types can be added here
Scripts-Trusted - PSPSCRIPTS file types can be added here
Selections - SEL & PSPSELECTIONS file types can be added here
Styled Lines - PspStyledLine file types can be added here
Textures - BMP file types can be added here

QUESTION: Hi Trinity chi,
I have a picture of an egg in a clear glass holder and I am trying to replace to egg with a picture of a can of cola. To make the cola can look like it is in the egg.
thank you so much for your help.
The folders are all fine now.I made a folder outside of PSP program folder to keep all my extras in. So hopefully all the extras will not slow the program down. And I can deactivate the extras not needed at the time.

Phylis
Answer If I am understanding you correctly, you are asking how to make the can look as though it were encased within the egg. To do this simple copy the can image. Paste it as a layer on top of the egg image. Now adjust your can's blend mode from normal to overlay. Depending on the egg image you may choose to duplicate the can layer to bring out the can's colors more.
