About David Ryan Expertise I can answer on how to use Paint Shop Pro in many situations; creating graphics for games, editing photos, pictures, etc... I am not very confident in using `masks` though, but apart from that, i`m experienced in most other parts of the sofware, though. You can ask me how to use different tools or `how do i make this like this?` and I am willing to help anyone
Expert: David Ryan Date: 5/12/2006 Subject: identifying color hex
Question I see how when I use my eye dropper, then point it at a color on a gif for instance... that the blue, red and green numbers pop up on my screen. I am trying to identify/ then incorporate a specific color from a gif so I can use that color within my web site. Is this the way to ID the color somehow... as in utilizing the hex number?! Is there another way through PSP? Thanks
Answer If you're using PSP7, (or perhaps any PSP version(?)) - you can select your colour using the dropper; and then on the colour palette to the right hand side, click on the colour you have just selected. The the colour chooser will appear; and at the bottom you'll see 'HTML Code' and then your hex.
Hope this helps;
David.
P.S. - sorry about the late reply; i'm busy with my SATS this year, at school.
