About Judy
Expertise
I can answer ALL questions related to watercolor paintings, except appraisal or artist identification. I can answer general questions about oil, acrylic, Chinese painting, and other media. I am NOT an art appraiser at all for any kind. I can only answer questions in aspects of materials, techniques, and critiques. I do NOT have the access to records of auction, painting pricing, or artist files & works, unlike art gallery dealers or art appraisers. I would not know how much an art piece is worth, but I am only an expert in the "art form" but nothing to do with VALUE.

Experience
Professional watercolorist for decades. Knowledgeable about all media, but not in value or pricing.

Education/Credentials
BFA in Fine Art, Painting MA in Art

Painting - Plexiglass window sign paint.

Question
I have recently purchased a Illuminated Glowrite sign and need to know what kind of opaque marker ink / paint I can use to periodically replace the writing. I can't find those skinny dual markers around here. Image at http://glowrite.com/

The manufacturer states to use vinegar cleaners, but not ammonia and "a WHITE WET ERASE OPAQUE PIGMENT MARKERS like the SAKURA MARKER"

It would be much better If I could get something I could apply with a wider sponge applicator. Maybe as much as a half inch.

I'm worried about ruining a new $250 sign with an undisclosed solvent or abrasive in other brands.

Answer
You would need "enamel" markers/paint, which is epoxy based.  However, I am not sure where or what makers make this type of markers/paint specifically.  You would probably need to go to a paint store and search for it.  Sorry that I cannot help you more than this.
