QUESTION: hello there i have an oil painting that is old. it has the name Stuart in the bottom left corner. it looks like a town square or something like that with arches in a half circle in the middle it looks like a water fall on either end of the half circle it has tall poles with like birds or even air plains on top of it and it has what looks like two people dancing on the floor on the right side from the middle and trees around the ends of the half circle the colors are dark greens and dark yellows and black on the back it has a sticker that says original painting by Stuart Vangaurd studios Beverly hills thanks

thanks for your question, could you send a photo of the painting so I can look at it. Do you know the year it was painted?, that name stuart is the same name as the artist who painted the unfinished portrait of Washington. But I assume your painting is more recent. Look forward to the photo.

Sorry but nothing shows up under that name when I Google it, so most likely the artist has no reputation or at least not enough to show up on the internet at the present time. Artist fall in and out of favor all the time. So you may want to go to a appraiser.
