Hello my mother in law has a huge beautiful painting in which she would like to make out the artist name but no one can make out the name is there a website where i could look up painters?

Unfortunately, there is never a website that has a complete list of artists.  There have been paintings done by family members who have never been claimed as artists.  There have also been artists who have painted a lot of paintings yet never reached out other regions except the local town.  There have even been artists who have had some fame but never been in computer system.  Artists are not like piano makers that there would be absolute name in record.

I am sorry to inform you that it is not an easy task to decipher a signature or find the particular artist.
