Question QUESTION: I have several pieces of art, etchings, water colors, that I have been searching for an online resource to identify the artists. I recently figured out the subject of the attached etching, now would like to ID the artist. IMAGE: Castello Bargello Courtyard (Bargello National Museum, Florance)

Thank you for your question, sorry I can't help you on that. I'm sure the etching was signed by the artist, thats more info that you have, that I don't.
You would need to look on line on websites like www.askart.com to see if that artist is listed by them.
I'm a practicing artist, not a art historian, so I really don't know anymore about the artist then you do. Sorry I can't be of more help to you.

QUESTION: I have looked on Ask Art, and they have a significant number of artists. My problem is more getting help reading the signature. I have use some digital image techniques, but to no avail, looking for someone more technologically savvy than me to decipher the signature.

I'm sorry, I have to report that, I have not been able to find anything that would be of help to you. It is fairly difficult to match work with an artist that you know nothing about. I hope you are able to find something at some point and time.
