my mom gave my a nice painting and it has the name ladd on the bottom right. can you tell me more or if it valuable

you have a very nice painting, I do not know who the artist is, but you could google his name to see if he is listed anywhere. I'm sure it has some value, but I am not an appraiser so I cannot tell you the value.
