Question
HAVE FAMILY ROOM THAT IS 24 X 16 AND HAS HUGE WALL OF WINDOWS AND OTHER WALLS ARE SMALL. IT DOESN'T GET A LOT OF LIGHT. WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT A CREAM/IVORY SOFA, DARKER WOODS FOR TABLES, GOLDISH/TAN RUG WITH ORIENTAL PATTERN AND ACCENT PILLOW WITH RED/GREEN/CREAM. SHOULD I PAINT WALLS, ONLY LITTLE WALL SPACE, A RED COLOR. CURRENTLY DARK/OLIVE GREEN. WILL THE CREAM SOFAS AND BASICALLY LIGHT,CREAM RUG WORK IN THE SPACE WITH THE ACCENT PILLOWS. IS IT BETTER TO GO NEUTRAL WITH THE LARGER FURNITURE AND POPS OF COLOR WITH PILLOWS/CURTAINS?
Answer Hi Diane
Thanks for the excellent photo. Your red paint idea should look fabulous. If you have a paint brand in mind (Please select from this list please, since these are the brands I specify: Ellen Kennon, Benjamin Moore, Dunn Edwards, Pratt & Lambert, Sherwin Williams, Pittsburgh Paints, ICI Dulux), then I can give you some specific colors to try.
Thanks,
rebnecca
PS: If you use the "All Caps" key when you type, it is considered a bit rude, as if you were yelling at someone. :)
