Question hi, i have white kitchen cupboards, black knobs, green and black counter top, my floor is off green, the kitchen is older and is box shapped with the window over the sink. i am only painting 1 full wall and bits and pieces from another. my applicances are white. i need some colur. i am buying a new table set, 45 round with dark wood top. i have a back splash with white and some fruit, do not know what to paint, can you give me some ideas.
Answer Hi Paula
Your kitchen sounds lovely; however, your "Green" counter top and "off-green" floor need a more specific description. The human eye can distinguish thousands of greens, so this might be tricky.
If you do not know who the manufacturer and their color name is for the counter and floor, another idea is to try to match these surfaces as best you can to a paint swatch from the following paint brands: Dunn Edwards, Benjamin Moore, Sherwin Williams, Ici Dulux, or Pittsburgh Paints.
You can also do a search online for any of these paint companies, most have online virtual palettes that can help you name these colors for me. Until I can "see" what you are talking about, I can't really give any color advice.
Get back to me and I'll be very glad to help.
Cheers,
rebecca
