Painting & Wallpapering - Paint Color

Question
 Hi,
We are in the process of remodeling our upstairs and are looking for a color for the "sitting room/office". It's actually the first area when you come upstairs. It faces south, but there is a very small window, so not much light.
Also, we have very dark log with white in between the logs on the bottom half of 3 of the walls(other wall all drywall), and angled ceiling above log walls with light pine on it. I am looking for a color for the walls. I would like a rustic Tuscan feel. I first wanted a dark orange, but decided that would be way too dark. I then saw a white(bright with slight hint of yellow) at a friend's new house(of course they didn't know the exact name of the color), and I thought that may be the way to go since it is somewhat of a dark room. If I were to go with a very bright white with a hint of yellow, I am not finding it. I've looked at several brands. I am thinking that may be the way to go if I can find the right "white", but I'm not sure. I am afraid any other color would possibly be too dark for the room. If you could suggest a couple paint colors(by brand and exact color name), I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Answer
sw 6127 ivoire

this is a light beige with a hint of gold not yellow. the thing with white with hints of yellow it can look like "smokers wall", when people smoke and the white walls discolors from the smoke.

I think a bit of gold will add a lot of warmth to your room.

Sherwin Williams lemon chiffon 6686
lily 6693 both of these are nice light yellows colors.

Thanks, Laura
