Question We are painting our home but all the walls are white.. I have solid med-dark green furniture with glass to end tables and mauve lamps with a rough texture and 4x4 squares of green yellow and reds.. not solid though just in the lower part of the texture, the bumpy outer layer is mauve too. I have a large Black Frame, Black and White and grey picture above the couch of a board walk trees and pond. I was thinking Grey sheer drapes with Black knoby poles. Am I right there with the color of the drapes.. I was tryin to bring the picture color in with the rest of the furniture. and what color do I paint the walls.. I have vaulted ceilings too.. it is a small room 11x17 but 18ft ceiling. Please email me with answer in case I cant find this site again.
Answer I think that I would go with the yellow on the walls and maybe red/mauve drapes. I and the black poles will look good. I think adding a the color of gray will be to much. I think the green will look great with a beige gold behind it and it will be warm and crate a neural pallet. The red and green work very well together and will make a nice combination.
thanks, Laura
