Question I am painting my nursery and I want to paint the trim a different white then the rest of my house. What do I do about the bedroom door since it opens to the hall? Do I have to paint trim, door and closet door same as rest of hall trim and doors? Help!!
Thanks
Answer Rachel,
Sorry this is not my area of knowledge as I deal with the technical side of paint.
However 40 years in the industry has given me some insight to the designer side. When designing colours they can easily divide off sections, and where a door opens they treat the door sides as separate surfaces.
Therefore you can paint and inside of a door one colour and take that colour to the hinge architrive and the latch side rebate. Just paint the lock side door edge with the colour on the other side of the door.
