Painting & Wallpapering - white lines

Expert: Ed Kuchar - 7/4/2009

Question
HI,HOPE YOU CAN HELP,PAPERED THE STAIRCASE AND 3 OR 4 STRIPS SHRUNK AND YOU SEE WHITE LINES,CAN YOU TELL ME HOW TO BLEND THEM OUT,THANKS STEVE.

Answer
Try getting some water color or magic markers for the seams.
Try on an inconspicuous area first. That will probably blend in..
Next time when you hang wallpaper, roll down the seams with a seam roller while they are still wet. That "sets" the seams and causes them not to shrink as they dry....
hope that helps....any other questions, just ask............
