Question
I want to wash my house before painting. How can I safely clean the
electrical boxes? Thanks.

Answer
Ross

You do not say what the substrate of the boxes is, Upc,metal or wood.

However I can give you some general gudelines.

DO NOT USE ANY WATER or water bourne cleaners.  Paint wipes should be sufficient.

If the surface is pre finished an looks like it could cause adhesion problems then consder a coat of a bonding primer such as Zinsser 123.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Tony.
