AboutDavid Prus Expertise I can answer any general questions about dinosaurs and on prehistoric mammals in the Cenozoic. I also know a bit about the media's various depictions of dinosaurs and their inaccuracies. I don't know much about "microfauna"-small animals, or about Paleozoic besides some knowledge about Permian animals. Plants are right out, I'm afraid.
Experience I have been interested in dinosaurs for most of my life, own a large collection of scientific papers and books on the subject, and am a member of the Field Museum in Chicago.
Education/Credentials I am in college, but studied biology and geology both in high school and as a personal effort.

Answer The Thylacines are smarter and quicker, but they lack the power to defeat an Anteosaur
Moschops was poorly armed compared to Anteosaurus, and probably a regular prey item
Titanoboa; it's bigger and faster
Megalonyx could cause some damages, but is too small to overpower the giant reptile
Argentavis was probably clumsy and weak on the ground. Anteosaurus wins this one
Meilonia would be unable to kill Anteosaurus, but Anteosaurus would be unable to kill Meilonia. The predator would eventually just back off after it learns it can't win
Deinonychus is more agile and would wear down the synapsid, but it would be over if Anteosaurus had a chance to catch it. I think a single Deinonychus just wouldn't be enough
Notosuchus is small and cold-blooded. No match for Anteosaurus
Paramylodon is heavier than Anteosaurus and armored. I think it would have a slight advantage. It would be prey, but not likely prey
Thylacosmilus was simply too small and weak to deal with a large therapsid
Gojirasaurus weighs slightly less, but is faster and smarter. I would say it would be fairly even, with the Anteosaurus having a slight advantage
Protoceratops is too small. Anteosaurus would be able to overpower it
Herrerasaurus is small and lightly built, no match for the heavy therapsid
Dilophosaurus is just as big as Anteosaurus and faster. I give it the edge, but it would be close
Nothrotheriops is smaller than Megalonyx, and probably not very able to fight against the larger reptile
I give it to the Troodons; they've more agile and intelligent, and they would just wear down the giant animal until they can close in.
Coelophysis is effective in a pack, but I don't think they were intelligent enough to use their numbers and they lack enough weapons to make their numbers count
Velociraptors are just as agile as Troodons, and eight of them would be able to overpower the slower animals in short order
Anteosaurus would be able to overpower the dwarf stegodon
Gigantopithecus' superior weight and intelligence just wouldn't be able to overcome the powerful jaws of Anteosaurus most of the time.
