Subject: going from Handspring Visor to Verizon PDA phone
Question Brent:
I buying a new PDA phone. I want to upload my Contact/Note info from my Handspring Visor (9 years old). Some have said I should convert my PDA info into Outlook first. Any thoughts? I don't know much about, Palm vs Pocket PC vs Windows based systems.
THANKS
Answer Hi Mike,
If it is a Palm product you should be able to recover the PRC (Palm File) for the contacts on your computer's hard drive Programs>Handspring>T>Backup add and install it.
I'm not really certain if these files are convertible to Pocket Pc files Blackberry/Rim files, but I believe everything now syncs with Outlook, so if it is there, you are good to go.
