AboutBrent Lewis Expertise I can answer questions about Palm OS, troubleshooting problems and advice on which models will best suit you. I am not able to do likewise for any PocketPC or Windows Mobile devices. Please keep in mind my deal with God - he/she doesn't answer questions about PDA's & I don't perform miracles
Experience I own [and have owned ] Palm [now Palmone], Handspring, Sony Clie devices for about five years. Most, if not all, of what I know, I have learned through trial.

Question What are the pros and cons of owning a PDA
Answer There are all sorts of pros
Organizing your phone contacts, datebook, and syncing those elements with Microsoft Outlook so that you have a copy in your pocket and a back up on your computer.
The biggest plus is that whatever you want to do from editing a Microsoft Word document, from keeping track of your diet to Playing games, keeping MP3's etc can all be done on a PDA. If the PDA doesn't come with an application you need, you can find a developer that offers you a program you can use.
My PDA, for instance, wakes me up in the morning, keeps track of my appointments and to do's, it has a voice recorder for meetings, I keep some MP3's on the SD card, I have a secure program to keep track of all my weblogins for work and other personal information at my fingertips. If I get bored I can play some games. I love it.
The only con is that It is another tech device to have to carry around and keep track of.
I have been a pretty big fan of the Sony Clie. It runs the Palm brand of Operating system. They are very reliable and come with needed software that on Palm devices you need to pay extra for. In particular the Clie TG-50 / UX40 and UX50 (I'm a fan of having a keyboard).
