About Lisa DesGroseilliers
Expertise
I can answer anything about the Palm OS platform. I have been using a PalmPilot / PDA ever since they became commonplace. I can help you with which model to choose and tips on how you can program it to fit your "stressed and/or busy" lifestyle. I have a Treo 650 SmartPhone which uses the Palm 5.0 OS. Sorry, do not have enough experience with the Windows Mobile platform.

Experience
I self-taught myself how to use PDAs and the first smartphone I used was the Treo 600 about 2 years ago. I moved to the 650 several months ago (Sept 2006). I use it since I have 2 jobs and it has helped me to keep my 2 jobs organized and relieve the stress from following multiple schedules. Also, I can show you how to use your phone as a recorder.

Question
I h ave a palm e2 tungsten evertime i press calender home or some others i have to restart. What do i do. Please help

Answer
Hey Jeremy!

In order to better help you, I need to ask you a few more questions about what is happening. So far, it sounds like there is a program/file that is conflicting with the main utilities of your palm. When did this start? Did you recently install a new program around the time this started happening? When you say restart, does it crash or is the palm restarting on its own? If it is a new program, you may want to try to back up the info of the program and then delete the program from your Palm. You can get your data back as long as you sync before you do this. Hotsync and then try to delete some programs and see if it still happens.

If all this does not work, a hard reset may be the only way to go. You can always get your info back again as long as you hotsync to back the data up. Also, there are ways to tell your palm to only get the info from your desktop and not go both ways. If you need help with this let me know.

Good luck, and again if you still need help, do send me a followup. :)
Cheers.
Lisa D.
