ANSWER: Hi Joseph,
The aifare (one way) from Panama Albrook Airport to David is approximately 70.00 USD and there should be about 2 to 3 flights a day.
There are no flights from Tocumen International Airport to David.
About taxi fares from David Airport to Boquete I do not know. However the bus fare is less than one dollar.
Good luck,
Lorena

QUESTION: albrook is how far from tocumen int. and taxi fare, plus how much to tip while in panama, tipping for taxi rides, eating.

Answer
Hi Joseph,
Albrook is about an hour away from the airport, with normal traffic.
Taxi fare from the Tocumen Aiport to Albrook Airport should not be more than 40.00 USD. Now, as I write the taxi fares are being changed, so take that into consideration.
Tipping for rides is not done and tipping for food is usually 10 to 15% of your check - if the service is good.
You are not obliged to leave a tip-
Good luck.

I can answer questions regarding Panama, its people, culture, places to visit, places to watch out for, hotels to stay, how much your taxi fare should be... specific information on getting around on a safe manner.

Experience

I was born and raised in Panama, educated in American schools. Since I enjoy all related to Panama history, I try to keep myself updated on local happenings in the subject. I also enjoy traveling and the internet seems a wonderful tool to use, specially when you are your own guide (which I usually am)- so I am just willing to give some of the help I have received back.
